Emily has helped me to get to a more peaceful place in my life. The methods that she teaches and how she connects with people makes the process feel completely natural.

I am now in wide-eyed wonder

I had been dealing with chronic stress and constant health issues. I had spent years trying to fix these problems through every approach imaginable. When I began working with Emily, I was feeling frustrated, disheartened, and out of ideas. I am now in wide-eyed wonder over the positive transformations that have occurred in my life in a relatively short amount of time. I am so grateful to Emily for suggesting this material to me and for her sincere caring and wonderful facilitation.

This experience has changed my life

I have lived with anxiety for a very long time. I am on meds for this and other mental health difficulties. My meds work but I was still living with anxiety especially related to uncertainty and people-pleasing issues. Learning from Emily has helped reduce my anxiety substantially. I have also needed less medication for sleep, which is the first time in a long time. I am impressed and surprised by how much this experience has changed my life and how I interact with my anxiety. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I can already feel a shift

I’ve used the emotional drop-in technique several times since the retreat, and I’ve told several of my friends about it, too.  The most groundbreaking revelation I received was to think about how I WANT to feel, not how I don’t want to feel. It was jarring to realize that I had no idea how I wanted to feel — I had never allowed myself the time and space to think about that.  I’ve only had a week to practice this new thought pattern and I can already feel a shift in several aspects of my life. I was mad at my body, at the diseased systems, but your personal story inspired me to love myself well. I’m excited about what I can do with that after even more practice! So thank you for opening my eyes to that truth.  You made a positive difference in my world and I wanted to share that with you.

I walked away with new strategies

I recently participated in Emily’s “Mini Retreat for the Soul” not knowing much and I’m so glad I took the leap. I left the retreat with a sense of peace that I haven’t felt for months. For most of my life, I have struggled with anxiety and depression, never severe enough to need medication, but just enough that both have the capacity to leave me not feeling or operating at my best. I walked away with new strategies to combat both when they rear their heads and can lead to downward spirals both personally and professionally. I highly recommend working with Emily!

My participation in Emily’s courses has fostered a deeper toolbox and I have been able to share and practice the tools with others in a beneficial way, personally and professionally.

Emily’s effervescence and compassion set the class tone immediately

I came to the class at a very dark time in my life. Emily’s effervescence and compassion set the class tone immediately. She made the environment feel safe and inviting.  I feel Emily has realistic expectations for her class attendees, but at the same time, she gently challenges us to use the tools made available to us in the class to better our human experience. For me, this class was the beginning of the journey toward a healthier, more mindful me. I am grateful.

She helped me learn how to use my emotions as tools

I started working with Emily at a time when I was feeling extremely uncentered and chaotic. My emotions were controlling me.  She helped me learn how to stop letting my emotions control my life and instead how to use my emotions as tools to learn more about what I need in my life.

I feel more in touch with my feelings now

I liked discovering how all the aspects that I learned fit in really well with real-life scenarios. I feel like it’s helped me shift my perspective a lot and focus more on positive things without letting stress and troubles bother me as much. Also, I feel more in touch with my feelings now. Emily is such a great teacher and healer! She is so compassionate in her work and truly listens to the people she aids. She also has a very fun, friendly personality, which shines through and makes working with her a wonderful experience!
