I’ve used the emotional drop-in technique several times since the retreat, and I’ve told several of my friends about it, too. The most groundbreaking revelation I received was to think about how I WANT to feel, not how I don’t want to feel. It was jarring to realize that I had no idea how I wanted to feel — I had never allowed myself the time and space to think about that. I’ve only had a week to practice this new thought pattern and I can already feel a shift in several aspects of my life. I was mad at my body, at the diseased systems, but your personal story inspired me to love myself well. I’m excited about what I can do with that after even more practice!
