Do you know what I realized as my serious day came to an end? It would have been ok to give myself permission not to accomplish.
Have you ever noticed that when you’re in the unknown, you easily start stressing about what COULD happen? Your thinking mind goes into overdrive, trying to find the answers.
Something changed when I started learning how to be present IN my body instead of just my mind when I was full of resentment. My thinking mind wanted to keep my focus out there on the other person’s behavior. But my body had something else in mind. It was beckoning me back home…
So I ask you, “What creates this space for YOU in your life? Do you already know? O rare you curious about what might create this space that naturally leads you to guidance and relief from anxiety without having to work so hard to get there?”.
We’ve all got our triggers, right? Those things that can make us go from chill and happy to enraged, intensely anxious, or terribly sad in one fell swoop. And I’m sure you’ve noticed that when you’re with family, some of those triggers you haven’t seen in a long time suddenly resurface!
My family and I are in the car right now, headed back from our COVIDtime vacation. I’m happy to report that I am NOT driving as I type this!
What if the present moment is waiting patiently for you to return to it, ready to offer you the relief that your busy, anxious mind easily forgets you will find there?
