Well, hi there!

I’ve missed connecting with you.

If you’re reading this blog, you likely know that I’m a doc who helps people learn new ways to navigate anxiety and stress that bring sustainable relief, right?  But this doesn’t mean I never have my own anxiety or stress! They’ve both played a significant role in my life since I was a child and they still show up. But my response to them is so very different now.

My experience and relationship with them have transformed over the years. And now I teach others how to update their experience and relationship with anxiety and stress so neither has to own them anymore, either.

I’m sharing a video of a lovely LIVE IGTV chat I recently had with @shantielixirs. I share real-life examples of the tools I myself use that have made such a profound difference in my life when anxiety and stress are present. These are the same tools I teach others how to use, too. And you know what? They’re far simpler than you might guess. 😍

So grab yourself a cup of tea, put your feet up, and enjoy the laughs and tools that come with this video! Or give it a listen on your commute to or from work (You know I do NOT want you to WATCH it while you’re driving, right?! 😳. Who am I kidding? You already know your favorite way or time to watch or listen!

And keep your ears out: I share the words my daughter once said to me from the backseat of the car that stopped me in my tracks…until I used one particular tool. It’s a tool I use on the regular now because it’s THAT helpful!

Be sure to let me know which parts resonate the most for you…❤️

P.S. If you’ve been enjoying my weekly blogs and are itching for more daily inspiration, friend me on Facebook (Emily Colwell) or follow me on Instagram (dr.emily_colwell).  I post frequently and humor leaks into most of my posts!

Warmly,

Emily Colwell, MSSW, ND
